Introduction: Getting Started
My philosophy around what being a “REAL” bride is all about, the ways I would work through this course to keep from landing in Overwhelm Territory, and some other little housekeeping stuff to know before you jump in.
Module 1: Setting Your Vibe
You can't start planning if you don't know what you actually want, so that's where we start. I'll share my “3 word” planning strategy I use with every couple that allows me to design weddings that are unique to them, and questions to go over with your partner so you are on the same page from the start. We will also create your budget and introduce you to a simple spreadsheet to keep track of everything you spend.
Module 2: Everything you need to know about vendors
Your vendors can make or break your experience. In this module, we dive into how to make sure you pick the right people and stick to the budget you created.
Module 3: Your People & Dress
Who should I ask to be my bridesmaids? Will I know when it's the dress? What do I need to do? Such important questions and I'll walk you through all you need to know about including the right people, right dress, and other pro-tips around unexpected costs, accessories, alterations, and more.
Module 4: Bringing in the Right Details
The beef of wedding planning lives in this module. We will cover the order to do it all and the little things I’ve learned along the way to make it more manageable and more you. Website, invitations, save the dates, florals, decor, guest experience, stationery, seating, backup plans, and more.
Module 5: Navigating the people part
Wedding planning is a lot without the outside noise, so I dedicated a whole module to talk about all the people stuff—family opinions, seating arrangements, trends, and bachelor/ette parties. By the end, you’ll be able to stand firm in what you want so you don’t fall into the people-pleasing traps.
Module 6: Timeline Creation
The FULL timeline creation process (from start to finish) that works for any size guest count, number of locations, and vendors. I’ve been testing and tweaking this process for half a decade, and I’m giving you the exact process I use for which day, in what order, and why; PLUS little tricks I've picked up along the way to help with your seating chart and setting up decor on a time crunch.
Module 7: Prep for Wedding Day
This is where everything comes together. After this module, you will have peace of mind going into your wedding because all the little details will be organized by basically the minute (with wayyy more detail than you thought you’d need) so you can sleep without getting any last-minute wedding nightmares…trust, it’s a real thing.
Module 8: Wedding Week
During wedding week, you start to feel all the feels. This will cover things you should be focused on that week from self-care to tips on walking through your rehearsal quickly & efficiently.
Module 9: Post-Wedding To-dos
Tips on thank-yous, changing your name, honeymoon-ing, returns, and preservations. All the little miscellaneous good-to-know in-between things to wrap up your planning experience with a pretty bow.
